It can't be easy when one of your parents starts dating an insanely popular reality TV star. "When your dad's an NBA player that's already enough, but when he's marrying a reality TV star, things are so public and you don't have a private life anymore." Making things extra weird is the fact that Destiny was a loyal fan of prior to her father's relationship with Khloe.
In a new interview, Lamar Odom's 17-year-old daughter Destiny opened up about what it was like for her father to marry Khloe Kardashian and the effect their tumultuous relationship had on her life. Destiny explained, "It was crazy that my dad was getting married to this woman that I used to watch religiously.
"It was such a whirlwind, really." Immediately, Odom says, the privacy in their home life was gone.
The overexposure followed her to school, where kids would approach her about her father's publicised substance abuse. And when his addiction became public, then it became a social media thing," she tells the magazine.
Earlier this year, she celebrated her name change from "Odom" to "Kardashian" with a custom cake.
Not only will Odom be documenting his stay at San Diego rehab for a reality show, he’s working on an autobiography that’s set for release this year.
Le Bron wants everyone to be ready to repeat as champs and bring another title to Cleveland! The 31-year-old team captain probably wants to make sure that Tristan avoids the alleged “Kardashian Kurse” when it comes to basketball players.
After Lamar Odom, 36, married Khloe in 2009 he had a couple of decent seasons with the Lakers before being traded to Dallas then the LA Clippers as his career flamed out.
I think that hit him really hard," she explains to Odom and Kardashian officially divorced in December of 2016, and he is apparently working on a memoir now that he is sober and has clarity on the recent events in his life.
Kardashian is currently dating another basketball player, Tristan Thompson.
Lamar Odom is currently recovering in rehab, following an intervention staged by Destiny and her brother, Lamar Jr., 14.
